Grocery Outlet (or T.J.Maxx) shopping organic and ethical food secondhand is easy here and is one of my favorite spots to check for discounted organic snacks.

Find My Local Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program - Consider trying a local CSA program and support your local farmer directly.

WWOOF: World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms - A directory that I’ve used in the past to identify different farms to visit and explore volunteering with or buying food from.

Find My Local Farmers Market Tool - This is a great weekly or bi-weekly routine to supplement some of your fresh produce. Also the seasonal items are usually incredible at a local farmer market.

The Farm Report - The Farm Report is a show about the people, processes, and policies that shape how food is produced today. From the latest agricultural innovations to the day-to-day challenges of running a viable business growing vegetables and grazing cattle, host Lisa Elaine Held engages in conversations with farmers and farmworkers and the people who work alongside them—like chefs, researchers, activists, and investors.

The Doctor’s Farmacy - A podcast hosted by a doctor in nutrition. He brings on fascinating experts from Kimbal Musk to Mark Bittman to discuss nutrition, the environment, and our food system. His pointed topics and experts brought on the show always fascinate me and I come away with a few more nuggets of knowledge.

Garden City by John Mark Comer - A book that examines work, rest, and the art of being human. A super-powerful message for someone coming from two cultures fixated on output and being busy.

Wendell Berry anything but probably start with The Unsettling of America: Culture and Agriculture. His pointed and timeless social commentary and observations have put to words feelings that I could not quite capture.
