FUTURE PROJECTS?
I plan to run my own sustainable community hub that integrates culture, creative, and the local needs of the community. Imagine, an upcycled warehouse that houses a food and maker’s market, restaurant, bakery, educational center, research center, conference space, co-working space, galleries, music studio, and exhibitions. Farmers, designers, and musicians all work together and collaborate on various goods and events to offer to the community. Have you heard of The Plant or The Ecology Center? They’re crushing it.
The desire is a community hub that epitomizes innovation, educates, consults, hosts, builds for others, and gives back to the community. I would love to develop and install these community hubs all across the globe. The goal is to inspire new generations of climate action businesses, shape culture, and unleash innovation for human flourishing.
CURRENT PROJECT
Check out the food community hub I volunteer with that runs self-sustained in Haiti with Harvest Craft called the Haiti Center for Agroecology. We host monthly farmer trainings and facilitate demonstration trial plots to empower the region’s farmers to create long-term sustainable change on an ecological and community level in their food systems.
